The Evening's Irreversible

Passing shades, the afternoon's long gone
Into the night, the languages
That keep a man alive will disappear
The spoken word so confident when verbally
Presented to a man -- But change must come
Not from without but from within.
A people dying into the masses, losing their identity,
Cannot be shaped by any other.
They must control who they are
And make decisions before the evening's irreversible.
