In Good Health

How lightly must a scalpel dance
Over the tightrope of a heart
Swinging a life beneath the chance
A breath could leave a fatal mark

Hiding the calm within his eye
On gliding hands his gloves quiver
Sliding their patience underside
A life to save, life to deliver.
